How to boot Meeo with Fedora / Windows…

After installing windows and Fedora 13, I installed Meego, which was actually mistake as Meego is not able to read ‘ext4’ parition (fedora use ext4 for boot also) and if you try to boot it, it is not grub.conf entry to add.

Finally I tried to use ‘rescue’ disk and run ‘grub-install /dev/sda’ to reset MBR for Fedora. With MBR, my grub.conf (/etc/grub.conf) is

title Fedora (2.6.33.6-147.2.4.fc13.i686)
root (hd0,6)
kernel /boot/vmlinuz-2.6.33.6-147.2.4.fc13.i686 ro root=UUID=f509255f-e169-4830-8d0b-030ad757a3fe rd_NO_LUKS rd_NO_LVM rd_NO_MD rd_NO_DM LANG=pa_IN.UTF-8 KEYBOARDTYPE=pc KEYTABLE=us rhgb quiet
initrd /boot/initramfs-2.6.33.6-147.2.4.fc13.i686.img
title MeeGo
rootnoverify (hd0,4)
chainloader +1
title Windows 7
rootnoverify (hd0,0)
chainloader +1

Now if select Meego then Meego Boot menu appear  and meego is working fine.

So, if you want to install Meego with any other linux, install as following:

1) Windows (if you want)

2) Meego

3) then Fedora or any other Linux (which can detect Meego Boot loader).
